Savoir faire

Explore the intricate craftsmanship of our Frømand watches.

Our nine-sided Titanium crown was inspired by the pommel of a Viking sword and offers ease of use, even with gloves.

We could have easily skimped out on our bezel with stainless steel, but we decided to use Grade-5 Titanium and DLC coat it in black to provide legibility and contrast with the lumed minute counter.

Lume on our Frømand is a serious affair! We made sure to use applied 3D lume blocks on our hands instead of painting it on it to provide depth, texture, and powerful lume for legibility in the dark.

“The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” From the finely finished Schwarz-Etienne ASE 200, Grade 5 Titanium case, carefully crafted dials, and straps made from recycled ocean plastic, emerges the Frømand dive watch, a unique combination of sturdiness and luxury.

Schwarz-Etienne’s ASE 200 provides an exciting platform offering a micro-rotor with 86 hours of power reserve. We then take this to the next level with skeletonisation, sandblasting and hand-bevelled edges, making it truly unique in the world of dive watches.

Our deceptively simple black dial is adorned with 3D lume hour markers, azzurage to create a textured sunburst effect and our Atelier Holgur shield hidden in the engraving.
